This course is designed to introduce personnel to William M. Marston’s behavioral style analysis model DISC from his book,“ Emotions of Normal People”. The DISC model is widely used in management training around the world. Students/managers will learn that DISC is the universal language of observable human behavior. Just knowing and watching people can prove its validity. During this introduction to the DISC model, the participant will be exposed to the language of DISC, and how they can use DISC to better know themselves, enhance communications, enhance their knowledge of others basic needs and provide their subordinates with a working climate for motivation. All participants will take a DISC behavior and Motivators instrument. This instrument evaluates their work behavioral style and how they can use the tool to enhance communications and the performance of the people they supervise. This report is over 45 pages long and will provide a tremendous amount of information about yourself.
